The Cert-IST (Computer Emergency Response Team - Industry, Services and Tertiary), created in 1999 by a consortium of French companies (CNES, France Telecom, Sanofi and the Alcatel-Lucent group), became a not for profit Association in 2003. This new organisation strengthens the perenniality of the Cert-IST and guarantees its independence.

With an experience gathered since 1994, the Alcatel-Lucent Security Practice ensures Cert-IST services to the members of the Association.
